Pat Stewart

Pat Stewart, BA, IMM

Pat Stewart has built her extensive recruitment and business career around all levels of Finance, Sales, Marketing and Administration. Offering more than 23 years of recruitment and search experience, for small and medium companies, to corporate business, and across a broad range of fields - Accounting, Investment, Property, Manufacturing, Retail, Fabrication and Freight, and the NGO and NPO sectors - she works closely with her clients to understand their business, and source highly relevant candidates to suit their business needs and growth. Using thorough behavioural assessment and reference checking to assist her in achieving her successful recruitment projects, Pat has retained many of these clients throughout her recruitment career. She has seen the candidates’ development and added value within her client companies, and this has enabled them to grow their careers successfully in their chosen fields. 

In dealing with Executive Placements, there is often a need to search for and approach relevant senior managers to fit specialised positions within client companies, and understanding the culture fit, technical capacity and business objectives of both parties is a specialised strength developed through many years of successful placements of top candidates. 

For the past fifteen years, Pat has also been involved with many of the prominent NGO and NPO's in the Western Cape and in other national centres, particularly placing Senior Managers in areas of Fundraising, Communications, and in many cases, the Chief Executive and Financial Management roles. As these organisations are often not able to afford specialised Human Resources skills on a permanent basis, Pat has not only recruited successful people on their behalf, but also assists with HR and business guidance within this sector, where often there is a shortage of managerial support.

Pat has been a Director of the company for more than nineteen years, and Managing Director since 2009.

Mary de Wet

Mary de Wet joined Anchor Executive Recruitment in July 2010 to bring her sound expertise to clients in the Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Retail, Petro-Chemical and Engineering sectors. She has sound experience in executive search, recruitment, project management and specialises in Equity networking and sourcing. In addition, Mary is well-networked in Gauteng as well as in the Eastern and Western Cape, giving her a pool of talent focused on BEE based candidates. She has also been actively involved in the management of recruitment projects with International market leaders in the Automotive, Solar Power and FMCG sectors by sourcing the technical and engineering staff for the various phases of these projects.

Her international Executive Search training has given her a professional perspective on sourcing the talent and skills required, while not waiting for executive talent to apply to normal advertised positions.

In 2007, Mary was awarded the Consultant of the Year Award for the Eastern Cape/Border region through APSO which was adjudicated by Industry Leaders both Local and International. This award was based not only on client references but on industry knowledge, candidate references and above all, passion for her industry.

Support Team

Janine Muller

Janine joined us in January 2015 as our Frontline Administrator, and is "our first port of call" both on the telephone and in reception, for those calling, being interviewed

or visiting us. She is responsible for the Behavioural Profiling of each of our candidates, and her friendly, communicative style is welcoming, and puts our candidates at ease

prior to interviews. She also provides us with typing, general administrative skills, and is seen as a key element to providing our professional service levels in all these areas.
